Hello guys my driver side window hasn't been working for a week.
I did everything like the forum advised. Still nothing so I went a bought a brand new master switch still not working ? Could there be a problem with the wire ? Power does come to the driver window just wont come down !!!! It happened last week when I came home washed my car next day woke up and window wouldn't come down at all.
All the windows work from the master switch only the driver window doesn't work.
What should I do next ?

Get a multimeter or ground test light and check to see if power is going to the window motor. If it and still nothing then it has to be something after the switch to the window motor or the window motor itself.

Thanks. Power is coming to the window switch but not coming down.
I'll have it checked out !

Last resort, I have had two Fords that the windows got stuck on. One all the way up and one all the way down. It was like a limit switch got stuck and would not let it move. I took the door panal off and taped lightly on the window motor with a hammer. It started working. I think the window motors are about to go out. Good luck with yours.

Thanks you for your comment. You think it may be the motor ?
I had this happen about five years ago at a Seymour meet. Gave the door panel a swift slap with the palm of my hand. Worked. And has never acted up again.

I had this problem with my window, only when it got hot 90* plus. I just bump windows down from up stop that works for me... no cash fix

Main problem is sticky window track. Try giving a good slam or a good palm from door panel. If not remove door panel and tap motor with something. I had to remove the motor from the regulator gear them reinstall with the gearing inserted more clockwise or counter clock wise.

This happens on my Town Car too.
It is a pretty common problem.
The windows stick in the tracks.
