I don't know if I'm oversteppin' but I wonder if Lidio could make an appearance at MVX.

I know that many of his fans (Including me) would love to meet him and ask questions.

If this is something that is desired but not planned, I could contact the man to see if it's possible.

I'll put money on it that he doesn't have the time for the event. His shop is super busy, and requires his attendance there for business, as he is the only one who runs the dyno.

I like your idea but like said above, this is his shops super busy time.

Your best shot is to ask him personally, not make it a celeb thing.
Maybe organize a list of members that want his services and make the invite worth hi$ while.

Those that own their own business know that in fact the business owns you.

Yeah, that had to be tough, I can't tell you how many of these events i have "planned" on attending and just didn't make, St Louis, Indy, each spring Louisville!

I'm sure he was torn, get in front of past, present and future customers and just plain ole car folks or get work done to pay the bills. That's the hardest part for small to mid sized companies, selling and billing at the same time, let alone just taking a day off.

What I find quite disturbing is how "unimformed" so many are about the demands of owning a business are.

I wish more would take the leap and open their own business. We would all benefit.

Well again, you don't know what it is like until you do it so you have to be understanding of that too. And if it was that easy more would do it.

On the flip side there are plenty of talented, hard working folks who work for others and do a great job. I don't have the brains or political here-with-all to succeed in corporate America. Many times I wish I did.

My context was in light of the "anti-business"/"anti-profit" movement. Most businesses are small, some consist of a saw and a pickup.
