if this new compressor does not work im going ot send it back and gonna convert the rear from air bags to the springs
im wondering how many people have done this and is it pretty easy job to perform
will it ride just as good/worse/better and will it still sit staggered looking bec thats what i love bout our cars rear sits bit higher than front
im gonna try this compressor n a ride hright sensor and if that doent fix it im gonna convert it bec the bags will be 200 and i can find a nice kyb conversion kit for that prioce and will never have to deal with air sus nomore
n if i do so what bran should i go with kyb or eibac

Can't vouch for the switch between air and coil... But I had a 00 mgm and my rear springs where shot and I bought a set from a company called sun core industries they sell the regular coils and heavy duty coils for less then 200 I got the heavyduty set and it put the rake back in the car and drove like new and rode just as comfortable as before if not better... But I would defiantly recommend changing your shocks around the same time... Good luck

CVPI springs have a better rating then GM springs. IMO Suncor seems to be the best choice and havent heard of many problems with them at all. Also if youre looking to lower the car it is the same as lowering frt end on a MM, Cut the springs accordingly to desire amount. I for one have been planning to swap to this when my air ride starts to be a problem simply for the reason that when it does it almost always requires multiple parts to fix. Iam all for fix it once and be done vs fix a few years later fix another problem thats not for me. Good luck and post pics when done if you go this route

got some spare time to do the rear end spring convertion and took me and my buddy just little over a hour in 100degree weather
this was the first time me or him did one of these and the direction were spot on and was very simple with basic tools..socket set, flat head screwdriver, pair of jack stands and two big jacks.
was pretty simple install and it makes the car sit just a little big higher than wih the air suspensions and i like it, also makes the car ride nicer in my opinion.
idk what my problemwas with the air suspension but i know it wasent the compressor since bought one and installed and still did saem thing so sent it back for a full refund.
so that wasent the problem and when i unhooked the air bags there was soo much air in them and when off for inspection im pretty sure it was not the airbags not holding air bec it scared the crap out of me when unhooked the steriold.
i think im going to sell the air bag suspension since dont have no use for it anymore i have both air bags, the compressor, 2 steriold connected to bags with o-rings. any1 want a spare set just in case theres goes up sent me a PM.
im sure it was the air ride height sensor was the problem but did not feel like messing with it anmore so just went with springs and so glad i did feels like a better ride with the sunco heavy duty spring convertion

Good to hear I agree with the stance and ride quality as I said from my previous post all in all enjoy the new springs and also understand the springs will settle after some suspension cycling so the back may drop 1/4- 3/8 of an inch but it probably won't be all that noticeable
