What are you guys running? I feel that the MM is stiff, way too stiff. Need to replace them as the right rear is leaking. What is everybody running?

My left rear started leaking at about 70K miles. I replaced both with OEM. Personally, I like the stiffness and like feeling the road rather than the squishiness and body roll in a GM.

Honestly, the stiffness is one of the core components of what makes the MM an MM. If you take that away, the only real distinguishing performance factor is the motor. That's not to say the power is negligible, but really, the suspension is that much a part of the package.

So just OEM replacements, from Ford or aftermarket? Monroe / Gabriel / Tokico?

Agreed. Almost anything that you go with (OEM direct, or in-kind aftermarket) is going to be on the stiff side to provide enhanced handling characteristics.

You want a soft ride get yourself a Town Car... ;)

A couple of us are running Monroe Severe Service:

I love 'em; firm, but not harsh, ride. Then again, if you're looking for cushy, they may not be what you're looking for.

These are the ones I was looking at, now to find the best price and instal. I understand that the MM has firm suspension but its more firm than I am used to.

The harshness is coming from the rear shocks. The Monroe will make a big dif.
