Both sensors on the COT fit both connectors. I forgot which sensor fits on the driver's side and which one fits the passenger side. Can I leave them how they are since they fit the connectors anyways, or are they designated for a certain side. I'm confused because they look the same.

I'm asking the question here because I thought someone doing the swap would know.

sensors are not interchangeable, the one on the driver's side is for the temp gauage on your cluster, the one on the passenger side is CHT(Cylinder Head Temp),or the ECT,Marauder is the olny car that uses the ECT as a CHT, this one if it fails will set a SEL on your cluster.
hope this helps.

sorry i meant to say not interchangeable......my bad.........

Mine were not interchangeable and there is a very minor difference between the two connections...Look closely. Mixing mine up cause my temp gauge to be extremely inaccurate.

I thought I recall them being slightly different too.

The part of the sensor the fits into the connector is the same, that's why they connect on either side, but the bronze part the screws into the COT seems to be a little different one seems to be rounder than the other, but those also can fit onto either side of the COT. Which one goes into the driver's side and vice versa is what I need to know and for some reason I think I have them backwards.

The sensor with more wrench surface area is on the right.

The sensor with less wrench surface area is on the left.

I just took these a few moments ago off my car. And all works fine.

Thank you for taking the time to check and even post pics. You make me want to do something good for someone and pass it on.

Just to clarify, is the driver's side the left side and the passenger's side the right?

I can't wait to get off work tonight and check in the morning. I hope I can spot the differences. I remember when I screwed one of them out, I bend the groves because it was on so tight it got damaged when I took it out. If I can't spot the differences I will post pics so maybe someone can tell me.

The first 3 pics of the sensors were taken from the driver's side. The last 3 pics were taken from the passenger's side.

Unfortunately, I really messed up the passenger's side sensor so it's hard to tell what that sensor looked like. But I'm hoping someone can recognize the sensor that's in good shape on the driver's side and tell me if I put it in the right spot.
