How to remove light switch?

I was going to replace my light switch but dont know how to and want to do it right don't want to break something. I seen a pic of a switch and noticed one clip on top of it. Do I insert something flat on top of switch pull down and out?

The best way is to completely remove the bezel around the speedometer and radio

Small screwdriver or non-marring tool will pop it out from the front without removing the bezel.
