I heard a coment Saturday that got me thinking.
Here in the Windy city Marauderers', we have a great group of peeps many whom have done many go go mods to thier rides.
We also have as many blown MM's as any fraction here on this site.
We have been together as a group several times at a few of the local dragstrips.
The last experience at Greatlakes when we all met to race, was not my idea of good comeradere.
While I was excited to reveal how all would play out, the want to win clearly outmatched any assemblence of good natured ribbing.
My question to this group?

I want to go too. I'm hoping that with my new headers, full cat delete, hp trans, 3000 tc, pulleys, mmx driveshaft, pulling a headlight, tire pressure, tune tweaks and new floor mats that I can be in the low thirteens.......

Well, I was at 14.308 2 years ago. I bet I can get to 13.50.

Between a 3000 stall TC, pulleys and SW headers/no cats, you doubt I can pull .309 off my time to get to 13.999? That would really piss me off if I couldn't. That would be $2145+ for nada.

That should be doable with a fourty MPH tailwind.:P
