I just sold my iPad, and now I'm left with a GoPointTechnology cable that plugged in to the OBD-2 and the iPad, and let me run fun things like Dash Command (http://www.dashcommand.com), CARbonga (http://www.CARbonga.com), or other OBD-2 data readers. Although I only used DashCommand for all the extra gauges it offered, I hear that the other programs are pretty nice. The pictures are Dash Command on an iPhone.
From the Go Point Technology (http://www.gopointtech.com) web site:
"Just plug the GL1 or BT1 into your vehicle and use your iPhone or iPad to remove the risks, and surprises, from driving. Actually measures the efficiency of your vehicle; tells you when fuel economy is running low relative to your driving habits. For safety’s sake and peace of mind, the GL1 or BT1 will speak with your vehicle to interrupt the dreaded CHECK ENGINE light. Is your vehicle safe to drive, will it cost a small fortune to repair? Find out quickly and painlessly using your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. Like having your own personal mechanic riding next to you!"
So I'm selling it. $75 including shipping. PayPal only.
