Do any of you know about these bulbs?
More eBay stuff (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36476&item=2460173288)
Dan,
I don't know...maybe someone has tried these and are happy. I gotta tell you...I felt 100% comfortable plugging in the Sylvania Silverstars into my electrical system...any others...would make me skeptical and a little nervous.
Do the Silverstars, you'll be happy.

As my buddy, Frankenstein's Monster, says: "Silverstars Gooood".

I put the Sylvania Silverstars in mine and I am really pleased with the outcome. I think you'd be happy with the Silverstars!

I have had a pair of the Xenon bulbs in mine since May'03. I bought them off of e-bay, don't remember the name of the bulbs, the package is still in the car and will look tomorrow. As for white light, I saw an '04 Sat. night with the Silverstars and his lights were not as "white" as mine IMHO. Of course I am 49 and use reading glasses, but they just didn't look as white, BTW my S/O agreed with me. Just my .02.. For the price you can't go wrong, and if you don't like them, return them. Better yet buy one silverstar and put in in opposite the xenon's then you will have a side by side comparison

I bought a set for my dads lincoln markVIII for high beams and lows he was going through the tunnel in baltimore when inside he slowed down because he could not see in a stretch of thirty or forty yards he hit his brakes to slow down and got creammed in the grass by what he thought was a truck but he really doesn't know ,that took off and left him with 3,000.00 worth of damage to his car .what happened was the lights blew out and did not go on so he tried to put the highbeams on (mind you he's 73 yrs old )and he slowed to find the switch and thats what happened .Oh but im not done yet ..i tried to contact the seller to tell him the story about his crappy bulbs and he will not answer me back not only that but he took his ad off e-bay and is probelly selling under another name that i dont yet.because e-bay is investigating him for me which so far is nothing..I mean now i want to find him and sue him for the damages caused by the use of his product and can't find him ..Moral ?? Don't buy then unless you get more info from anyone selling them on e-bay...Thought ya'll should know...
