 I've been using Turtle Wax Ice for a couple years now. You wash car, then pour on the blue solution and run the claybar over it and rinse then put the polish on and wipe off. Man what a job it does but dummy me last time washed car and used the claybar without the blue solution and yes I have gray claybar streaks in my paint. Question is how can I remove ? I've let the car sit out 6 months and tried using the kit again but it doesn't remove the claybar residue. Any suggestions ? If I use another kind of cleaner polish or wax would it clean it up ? Do I need to think about polishing compund ? Hate the thought of doing that and ruining the paint even more. Appreciate any thoughts.

I've always used a spray "detailer" followed by claybar and wiped it off with a microfiber towel.
I would start there first, have any pictures of the "damage"?

I'm not sure which Turtle Wax product you're using, but if it's the same as the one in this video, it sounds like you're doing it wrong. The 'blue solution' is liquid clay - you apply it with a cotton or microfibre cloth, or with an applicator sponge.
When using an actual bar of clay, you're supposed to use a simple lubricating liquid - such as spray-on detailer or, as the video shows, 'clay bar lubricant'.
You might have caused the clay bar streaks because you used it with the liquid clay instead of a lubricant.

You'll have to polish out the marring left from using a dry clay bar. Hard to believe you got very far without something seeming wrong. Left it like that for months? Shame on you!
On the bright side, never heard of anyone ruining paint with a clay bar.
