Anyone here use them?

Had to put the stock tune in Phoebe for annual inspection and keep getting a P0430 before Bunny can get to the station.

i use one on my bronco. it has a very small cat on it so i guess its out of range for the stock rear o2 sensor. code has not returned and it passed emissions just fine

Thanks, Curt...Mary's taken Phoebe to a Kenny Brown festival in Wisconsin, so I'll have to wait until she comes back to look into it further. At worst, she'll have them put on a reject sticker, then I'll have 60 more days to figure it out.

Good find, and good thing this isn't posted on CVN forums or the Facebook group. Emissions mods are "illegal" to post!!!!

Thanks for the link, justbob. I remember reading about that trick somewhere, but I'd rather do the electronic solution as I don't have good luck working with rusted stuck exhaust components...no torch, for one thing.

Thanks for the linky screamn , that answered my question.
As for using google.com, I'm aware of how useful the search engine is, but I personally find having as much info about a subject w/ in the threads here both helpful for myself and for others reading through a thread. That being said, here's a brief from the linky you supplied:

Eliminates Check Engine Light. If you're running an off-road H-pipe or X-pipe, Plug-in MIL eliminators will shut off the annoying Check engine light and improve performance. MIL which is short for Malfunction Indicator Light Eliminator shuts off CELs by blocking the codes generated by the rear O2 sensors when running an off road mid-pipe or some mid-pipes with ultra high-flow cats.

If "we" relied on google.com and other search engines for our "basic :o" questions, I believe the community here wouldn't be the same IMHO. :)

If one is running an "illegal" exhaust set-up, I agree, but from the linky that I read, "some hi-flow cats" cause codes to be thrown. One using hi-flow cats are in good faith attempting to have their vehicle legal, but the specs are out of the norm so a code is thrown. Since everyone knows that car manufacturers use the least expensive cats they can mass produce due to the cost of Pt. If an owner chooses to go out an spend his/her hard earned money on a hi-flow cat that contains more Pt for a performance benefit, should they be penalized because the specs didn't account for it?
