I have lost the high speed on my fan.:confused: I am wondering where the best place to buy a replacement. Also I thought I remembered someone that did a rebuild/exchange. Was that someone here?

You can buy a new one or PM me, I have reworked BCM's.

Only the high speed? That's uncommon...usually when the BCM goes bad you lose the fan entirely.

I know. It seems strange to me. I am guessing that the bcm is like a blower motor resistor. I must have bad luck because my truck is doing the same thing. It also lost high speed. Grrrrr. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I am guessing that the bcm is like a blower motor resistor. It's not. The blower is controlled by a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal from the BCM...that's why it's usually all or nothing.

Try tapping the BMC with the blower on.
