Ideas for paint job?

Hi all -- I'm new to the forum but not to the Marauder, which I've been driving since '04. I've decided to drop a ProCharger supercharger into this stud, and think the car deserves a paint job to boot. I'd appreciate any ideas/suggestions. I'm not very imaginative when it comes to looks. Thanks.

Those stripes are nice! How about ghost flames? Just faint enough to be understated, yet when you see them...it's badazz!

Thanks for the ideas. I wasn't sure if the racing stripes would work -- usually a pony car thing -- but the black on black kicks ass. The flames really work too.

Personally I don't think stripes fit a Marauder, it's no LeMans car. I agree the Tuxedo Black looks awesome, if it were mine and wanted to change it up a bit I would do something like this way before stripes or flames. It's a big, black authoratative looking car and stripes or flames just look cheesy IMO.

Not to mention, for resale I think it would be a big turnoff to potential buyers

Hey this is mine, and Tuxedo black looks very cool, didnt have to paint under hood or door jambs to match.....

Get tons of looks on the car and now the paint job too... was a great color choice IMHO....

Read post 13 before jumping to conclusion on this. It's a tribute car. I say it's taboo to paint a Marauder any other color than origanel. But there are exceptions.

Didn't intend to offend, that's a special project and I understand its meaning. But the average person wanting to repaint their Marauder should steer clear of anything resembling this IMO. Hey, our cars are a way of expressing ourselves and if that's your thing, go for it. Just doesn't seem to fit the Marauder image

I wanted to get my car changed to either a darker black than Ford's UA or to the Tuxedo Black and no shop in the area would touch the job. :alone::shake:
