If you're talking about the OEM S/C set-up off an '03 or '04 Cobra, that would be an Eaton, and yes, they fit; quite a few swaps have been done on marauders.

The Lightning set up won't work without some pretty substantial modifications.

What size jacket are you looking for?

There's not an Eaton swap "kit" per se, you'll need to gather up the necessary used or new parts, plus fabricate a few, and either install yourself or have someone do it for you.

It took me about 14 months to gather up all the parts, and then another two weeks for ImpalaSlayer to do the installation in his spare time. I have just over $4K invested in everything.

Check out these threads for more info.

Right on! Sounds like quite the process! Would be satisfying seeing the final product though............any S/C setups around that arn't an adventure to put together?

The Trilogy kits were specifically made for the MM, but unfortunately, they just ended production on them earlier in the year. That was the route I was hoping to go...

Ya I read that earlier, too bad. I see that site vendor "Sparta Performance" has 2 S/C kits are they any good? Worth the investment?

Those aren't kits, they're Whipple S/C blowers that can be used to upgrade existing installations. You'd still need to obtain all the other stuff (lower intake manifold, intercooler, pumps, bigger injectors, etc.) to install on your car if you want to go S/C with either of those blowers.

As far as Whipple quality, yup, top notch stuff.

Oh ok I'm a total noob when it comes to S/C'ers, so now that Trilogy is done and apparently ill need "Indiana Jones" to find the parts for a Eaton swap LOL.

What other S/C options are there for us new Marauder owners?!

Or do I have to pull a "Impala Slayer" move and grab me a new 5.0? LOL

Oh and thanks "Cheesehead" for enteraining my sometimes dumb questions! :)

Like SCCHEESE says anything boost wise on our cars will be a home made swap! be it an eaton or whipple, or vortech.

Ask me how i know;)

Whether you gather the parts yourself are get a prefabbed kit, all S/Cing is an adventure, and well worth it.

For me. Gathering the parts and putting it all together with my buddy was more fun than driving it.

I love driving it but the build was more memorable.

Yep like the others said do a Eaton swap then just upgrade to a Whipple instead of a Heaton. 2.3 can fit under the stock hood but any larger (I.E. 3.4) needs a cowl hood. see my signature!

Make a list of all the parts needed. And based on what you can afford at a given time buy a part here and there. If you come across a lower intake, intercooler for a good price. Jump on it as it seems those items are slowly creeping up.

These are two of the harder parts to come by. Also, you'll want to contact Terry Gortch (screen name gortch) for a set of brackets, AFAIK, he's still the only source for Eaton swap tensioner and alternator brackets.

Saw this when browsing around for anyone interested. Looks like a lot of those SVT S/C parts might help shorten the search.

My car drives like a champ on the street. I picked it up on Thursday of the Louisville meet back in April and drive it 6 hours straight from the shop and had no issues. Most know how particular I am and if I had to put this on the road as a DD I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I have 160,000 miles on mine of which 115,000 are S/C. I have run the 1/4 in 11.5. I have over 250 passes at the track.

Another member has over 240,000 miles on his of which over 100,000 are s/c.
