Nice build! You need a transmission cooler when you run a smaller higher stall TC, the extra heat without it may kill the trans.
Trick Flow heads are great!
Looks like a BBK Tbody with a metal intake?
BBK Shorties?
Very nice. Engine will have as much grunt as a 4v. (Is this engine a 5.0?)

Well, it's in, and a sounds good out back...but another MAJOR setback...:(
Not getting any oil to the heads...sounded great behind the car, but up front, heard nothing but lifters tapping for the 1 minute it idled. Looks like it has to be pulled back out and torn down again to check the head gaskets and make sure the oil ports weren't covered up. Goos oil pressure down bottom, but the cams/rockers all dry as a bone...dammit!!!
Atleast I have a few pics of how it would look if I was able to drive it today..aside from the EGR being there becasue I forgot the blank off plate http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/default/frown.gif

I have no real idea just yet. I just know it sounds really mean..except for the noisy cam followers at the moment.

That's cool.
Who makes them and what do they go for?
They are OBX billet adjustable sprockets. Each gear is machined from T6-6061 billet for durability and that show quality look. Allows for +/- 12 degrees of adjustment.
Here is a set on ebay right now:

What was the cause?
Well, as embarrasing as it is, it appears we just weren't patient enough with re-priming the oil system. So, re-primed it, and plenty of oil and no noises. Other than an exhaust leak I have to chase down and fix...

Sounds pretty good, just a tad lumpy idle, enough so a good ear can recognize it's not grandpa's CV.
I really like the tone of the exhaust note too! What are you running for the exhaust system,I'd like to deepen the tone of my MM a bit, volume is fine on mine, with the stock mufflers, rear cat and resonator delete the tone/pitch is a bit higher than I care for.

It's A LOT better than stock. Right now I am just running a custom tune from BOC. If I havethe money later I am hoping for a dyno tune. I was gonna take it to the track, but I just tore my biceps tendon off the bone in my right arm. So can't manually shift right now. Surgery day after tomorrow.

Playing ball. Did a hook slide into third base to avoid a tag, and my hand got wedged up under the bag...therefore snapping my elbow straight, and rupturing the tendon

Thanks. Surgery went ok, the most painful experience I have EVER had. Having a few complications from it though, hopefully it will get better.
Your car looks really good, so the sound of the cams would really be an awesome match with it...You won't be disappointed if/when you do it.

I tore my left bicep tendon almost two years ago...yes, the surgery hurt more than the actual injury. I suppose it's from when they drilled holes in the bone to stitch it back on. Luckily I had no complications. I hope everything works out for you. Time and therapy will make it better.
