So what are you guys running for a remote start?

Did Ford/Mercury ever offer an OEM remote start kit? If so, are they still available somewhere?

Does anybody have any feedback on this kit?:

I looked at a used 2010 Merc Mountaineer.

It had remote start.

I'm pretty sure it was direct from the factory.

i had mine put in when i bought it new in 02. it works from the oem key pad. it's not very good long distance but 10 years later it still works..

I had a code-alarm installed before I picked the car up in Sept of '02, Ford no longer uses code-alarm. I also had heated seats put ina 300A :)
