What MM parts are interchangable

This really stems from the thread aboud Ford not supporting the MM alternator anymore. I realize this could be a broad topic, but as for mechanical parts, how much does the MM share with other cars that parts are easily available. Example- how much of the Aviator parts will fit the car engine. How many recent Grand Marquis parts would work. And how many body parts does the MM share with the Grand Marquis or the Crown Vic? I know the bumper guard on the back would be exclusive.

I guess my real question is what parts will cause an owner problems to replace in the next 5-10 years? Have others stepped in to make them?

Sorry if some of these questions seem stupid, but I am trying to learn all I can before I purchase one!

I think it would be a great idea to create a list of transferable parts for our MMs and make it an iron-clad sticky. I didn't know parts from an Aviator could be used on our vehicles...any others?

Something of this nature would be a HUGE benefit to have, IMO.

I could be wrong, but I think I read on here the MM engine shares a lot with the Aviator.

I guess my real question is what parts will cause an owner problems to replace in the next 5-10 years?Anything with the word "Marauder" printed or embossed on it, or anything that was specific to the Marauder over a CV/GM has either already been obsoleted by Ford, or will be shortly. 5-10 years? I bet more like 2 for everything that isn't already.
Have others stepped in to make them? No, and most likely no one ever will due to the limited production.

I like the idea might want to have upgrades too, like Esape 6 CD player and Cobra cams as an example.
