Which cylinder is "8" (or, "H", depending on the code reader I am using at the time)? The one closest to the firewall on the Passenger side?

#8 is towards driver on drivers side.

No - I already had that problem! Now I have a Cobra block.

I installed MSD COPs, and now I'm getting an occasional CEL on a failing COP in the #8 (or #H; see above) cylinder. I've sent a note to MSD to see if they will advance a replacement. Bought 'em from Summit, but I think they're under warranty.

I think I need more acronyms in this post.

The arrow in your PIC is the front of the motor where the fan is located correct MyBlackBeasts? :o

Yes, consider arrow the fan. Cyls 1 & 5 are at front of engine.

Picture is right out of the FOMOCO technicians reference.

Thanks for ensuring that I understood the PIC your provided, much appreciated! :) I wish I had the FOMOCO Tech. Ref., but the wallet can't afford it at the moment. :(

I don't understand why these people have problems, count drivers side, 1-2-3-4 then do to passenger side and count 5-6-7-8. K? Solved!

Using MyBlackBeasts's PIC, the arrow being the front of the engine, I believe you have it wrong Baaad GN.
