Hey Everyone,

I am purchasing my ceramic pads today or tommorow to do my full brake job this week, and trying to figure out what Napa Ceramic pads to get...

Napa lists Tru-Stop, Safety-Stop, Ultra Premium Ceramic, & Adaptive One Ceramic...these go from $20 a set to $90 a set. I tried using the part number listed a while back but that part number is no longer in Napa's system. I also asked the Napa guy but he said he didn't know what the difference was...

So any suggestions on which of these?

I own a shop here in Grand Rapids, ADAPTIVE ONE, are all we instal. For the money there is NO better pad available on the planet, IMHO that is. I have them on all of my personal cars. 100,000 miles on a set on an S-10, still showing about 30 % pad left. No dust of any kind, no squealing either.

I have the adaptive one pads also with the ultra premium rotors on the front and ive been happy with it. I put about 20k miles and theyre still goin.. For the rear i have the safety stop pads and regular napa premium rotors. Which are ok but are starting to wear quick now. I also have napa ultra premium brake shoes for the rear.

So my entire brake setup is Napa all around.

Agreed on the Adaptive One, you do not want the Tru-stop the old versions were only good for about 12k miles. They supposedly have a new supplier for them but and they claim they will be better, but since they have the same part number and same box who knows if you are getting ones from the new or old supplier. (My brother is a manager of a Napa).

Adaptive One pads do a wonderful job. You won't be disappointed.
