Some of you are aware I've been wanting to buy a car for my wife for 3 or 4 months now and I finally decided to pull the trigger. The last new car I purchased for her was the Grand National in 1987, since then I think I have given her 2 or 3 other cars after we took the GN off the street. I also have access to the auction here in chicago and have been there every week for a coupe of months looking for that one car to grab.
I also have talked to several owners of Marauders but just never felt comfortable picking one up as wife say's she already has a Hot Rod and we still after all these years have the GN and our 1964 SS Impala.
SOOOOOO I bought a 2012 Black MKZ with under 30,000 Miles. After all this time I found one without a scratch! Nice car.
This car does not have the Nav but I believe the wires etc are already there, so picking one up may be right around the corner, Hopefully a Mechanic can answer a few questions for the changes I wish to make.
Any Help will be appreciated.

Ya know i thought about Roy and will email him but I thought I'd through this out there to see what response I would get.
I've owned this car 10 days now and driven it twice, both times to put gas in it, surpize? LOL ya know how that goes. so far I absolutely love it, ride is great and I'm shocked on how fast is it's response for a V6, just a real nice car. After I got gas I took the car home and put it in the garage and opened the hood. Absolutely scarey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! there is NO ROOM anywhere under there, how ford ever thought of packing all that into that space is insane. to change a water pump do you have to pull the engine? I searched for the belts and found or should I say saw half of one, the others ,maybe if I went under the car on my back I could find more. It's a crime what they have done!

If you need warranty work done I've used these guys for my 91 Grand Marquis,96 Cougar,98 and 2003 Expeditions,2003 Grand Marquis Ultimate,2002 Crown Vic P71 and both my Marauders exclusively, even for my oil & filter changes. They're a real good long ride from you but the service is outstanding, fairly reasonably priced(for a dealer),things are done correctly the first time with no guess work and they're honest and personable.
Libertyville Lincoln,Libertyville,IL. Tell Jamie or Pat I sent ya.

UncleLar your right that is a run for me being so far south, their is a good dealership in Homewood/Flossmore that I'll use if needed. Ater looking at the mess under the hood will get the extended Warrenty as I don't even want to think about working on that mess. Keeping my fingers crossed I won't need much.
