A day at the races. NHRA Nationals - Seattle

Spent the day at the NHRA Nationals. This was my first time seeing top fuel dragsters, it was definitely an awesome experience!

I went to the first NHRA race when Joliet, IL opened..Those aluminum bleachers with the almost horsehoe effect around the start end..All I can say is Top Fuel under the lights in a sound amplifier with header flames so visible at night..Good stuff!!!!!!!!!!! and those are Awesome pics!!!!!!!

Also, if you look really closely, you will see something that almost never happens in Top Fuel. Bonus points to whoever finds it!

Yep! The last time he did that was 12 years ago!

Apparently that was 1 of 4 red lights the whole season.
