Lincoln Tech is a very good school [ Hi Vac School is good also, every body needs A/C ] anyway, some of my Co workers at Metro Transit in D.C. M.D. and Va [tri state company ] graduated from Lincoln tech and ended up at Metro from dealerships and all did quite well financially with a good retirement. [ I retired after 32 years] , I got my start with Ford tech school in Va. in 1973 .Lincoln Tech gives a wider automotive education base as opposed to a 'Brand" based school. Congrats and good luck

im really excited to learn as much stuff as possible about cars....:)
i know its gonna take a long time but im only 22, but everything is going as i planned so far in my life graduate high school took a couple years off of school since went for 12 straight years
took time to REALLY think about what i want to do as a career and i didnt really want to jump directly into something and then regret it few years down the road. But now im certain that automotive career is the path i want to take..
growing up i ALWAYSS justs loveddd cars and always wanted to work on them and buy a junker and fix it up top to bottom was a goal i wantd to do since a little boy...
one day i want want have a little boy and buy a beat up rusty just peice of junk car and on my days off as a mechanic on weekends just have me and my son work on it EVERY weekend couple hours a day, for couple years and just do a complete restoration on it and have one awesomeeee old school american muscle for my SON to drive to SCHOOL and stuff when he old enough of course and when people ask, my son can say yea me and my father build that car from ground up...
so thats my story and goals that i would love to come true in the future :):burnout:
something like a 1969 chevelle SS or 1969 camaro z28 are my two all time favorite muscle cars and one day will own both of them :D
also my toe allll time favorite modern day cars areee by far of course 2003-04 mercury marauder and a 1996 impala SS got to be the 96 just loveee those carsss :P:)

I wish you good luck. I always been around cars and trucks since I was 8yrs old so it became my hobby to wanna work on them to learn what makes them run and how to fix them. My uncle showed me how to do a front brake when I was 14yrs old and I was hooked. I took auto shop in high school then graduated and went to Ohio auto diesel tech in Cleveland for trucks and diesel engines. I worked full time working on trucks for living and my friends car on the weekends. Now I work full time for the NYC sanitation department as a mechanic making $85k a year before overtime. Its worth going to school and learning a trade since mechanics are becoming harder and harder to find in this computer age.

There will always be a need for auto mechanics..Finding an honest and knowledgeable mechanic that can have the time to work on your car is a challenge..Best of luck,I think you've chosen a profession that will always be needed..Let me know when you're ready to work on my car...

"Ditto" after I left Northeast Ford in Washington I went to Metro Transit and learned about Detroit Diesels [Indianapolis Indiana] ,Cummings ,MAN Diesels and Allison Trannys, I also got WRECK MASTER certified for Tow and Recovery . I was compensated well for my years of service with a great retirement.

so sir i did not and i do not know why because i installed the resistors correctly no dounts about that and did not work maybe i got a bad batch of resistors or something who knows..
so im got no choic but to go the other route and justs going to install a electronic flasher into the LCM hardness and that should fix the problem without a doubt but never know with my MM its got a mind of its own let me tell you...
can you or maybe some1 point me in the right direction with a link on ebay where i could buy oe of these electronic flashers. i know there like 9 bucks not very expensive at all and only take 10 minute to install onto the LCM so yea thats what needs to be done..
maybe i can get the flasher and have some1 here install it for me. i could come to them when they have some free time and pay them a couple bucks in labor to install for me and maybe drink a beer and talk about our RAUDERS...:D
