Found this one while in Kokomo tonight.

Checked it out, looks like new BFG's, few scratches, wheels in good shape. I will be glad to check it out if anyone has an interest.
Not me, that's over $5000 more than I paid for my SC MM & had half as many miles...

You paid 10k for an Eaton swap car with 36,000 miles? I find that difficult to believe.

Actually, I think it was closer to 39,000 miles. And yes, it was bought from a guy here probably two years ago now. Deals happen, but when they do you have to JUMP, not ponder. :)

Katrina car and yes rebuilt. I believe there was a pic on here about four years ago with a tree thru the windshield. Good car, solid, and properly rebuilt. Driven it many times, solid as can be, and pretty quick for a basic Eaton swap. He had to unload it quick as he was heading back to Iraq for a spell. He definitely lost his azz on that car, but I don't think he cared all that much. Zack did the swap and I did the gauges and whatever else he added.

Salvage title vehicles sell for ~60% value and you'll have a ***** of a time selling it when you do so.
Not an apples to apples comparison.

Very true. That's why we always recommend buying from a trusted member here with concrete history. Because of doing just that, he can now enjoy a low mileage S/C'd MM at a great price with plenty of wiggle room for reselling it.
It's all about what you want and what you can afford. Mine would cost you $18 large with double the miles. If I had a choice, I would have bought the rebuilt before mine thanks to the history here.
I would be very Leary buying an unknown rebuilt car and would offer even less than your estimate myself. Regardless, the one listed is in the steep range, but if it sells for that then that's good for all of us. :)

Nope damage was in '08 when a tree fell on it, Katrina was back in '05...
There's nothing about the car that would ever clue one that it's been damaged... Roof was repainted(so is better than most original '03), windshield, hood and probably header panel replaced, fenders, doors, etc all orig(all still have the orig VIN tags)...
Also there there's nothing on the VA title stating it's rebuilt...

My bad, that's what bazzlebear told me. I recall seeing the pic, didn't a member here do the work? Good car none the less. Glad she is still treating you good!
