This car won't ever see 12s; I plan on keeping it stock exhaust or close to it, and stock suspension, I like the way it rides too much. I have the mustang for running 12s and sinking money into :D

If I can get this to a low 14 n/a and low 13 on the bottle, I'll be a happy camper.

Off the showroom floor stock should be 15.5 - 15.8 ish. Tune and CAI 14.8ish. Tune, CAI, 410's 14.3ish. Tune , CAI, LTH, 410's U/D pullies 14.0/1 ish.

i took mine out friday for the first time. its got jlt cold air, long tubes, catted kooks x pipe, 410's, tune, and underdrives(which are on there way off tired of not charging). bust i could do was a 14.40 with a 2.1 60ft had a blast tho

If you put nitrous on it with the other mods your thinking you should hit 12s. Just get it dyno tuned and I'll put money on it hitting 12s.

Custom tune, CAI, u/d, Kooks exhaust got me to 14.0x to 14.1x every time with a best of 14.023. Haven't been to the quarter with the 3500 stall yet, but I did gain a solid 0.35 seconds in the eigth. Stock, mine ran 15.0x's pretty consistently. Launching techniques and track conditions are the big variables.

On the stock BFGs, I've pulled a 1.87 best bringing revs to approx 2000, releasing brake and gently rolling into the throttle with WOT at 20-30ft out... If you slap the pedal to the floor, you're gonna have a smoke show...

On the stock BFGs, I've pulled a 1.87 best bringing revs to approx 2000, releasing brake and gently rolling into the throttle with WOT at 20-30ft out... If you slap the pedal to the floor, you're gonna have a smoke show...

Not in my car.. DR's or no racing. After being used to the G's from a launch with a good set of stickies, I wouldn't waste my time again with street tires.

Agreed if I were regularly racing, it'd have DR's...

BTW that 1.87 is .03 better than I ever pulled running NA in the T-Bird on DR's(then it was a bit short on converter)... The Bird would easily pull 1.70-1.72 launching on a 75 shot, and produced a smoke show trying to launch on a buck & a half shot... Next year should be interesting, have a fresh 331 & trans with 3500 stall waiting for the Birdie...

My best launches, prior to new TQ, were in the 1200 to 1400 range. Mat the pedal when it's time to go. 22 to 24psi in the rears will help a bit, but I wouldn't expect too much more in the 60' times.
