Fun ford weekend - ssm marauders

:burnout:It is time to make this official. Spoke with Zolton and we are looking at attending FUN FORD WEEKEND on Saturday, SEPTEMBER 15th. Registration for the car show is between 9-10 am, trophies at 3pm. We can drag race, watch the drag races and show our cars.


Figuring we can meet somewhere close, have breakfast together and all drive to the event. SSM will kick in $10./per member to pay for your lunch.:beer: (car registration for the show is on your own.) If 10 or more of us attend, SSM would get a club recognition:banana:(and maybe a group drive down the track.) Here is the link:

3.5 hours for me. I may come over Friday night and grab a hotel close by. Get up clean the car and find a place nearby where we all can meet up for breakfast. Anyone else maybe looking to stay over friday night and I see what I can find for a decent hotel with a good rate.

Didn't get it yet, looks like the best bets are in Palm Beach Gardens, about 14 miles but pretty straight shot.
I am lowballing on Priceline.
I just shot a little low last night on "name your own price"
Looks like 60-70 per night for 4 star hotel.
Or $100 ish if you just book it.
i am staying for 3 nights so if I can save a few bucks it's worth it.

Right in the area of these hotels is one of the best Delis in Florida IMHO. TooJays.
Great food, HUGE Hot Pastrami sammiches, even chopped livah!

Rich Their was some talk of meeting up for maybe Breakfast some where in the area them driving up together. I'll check with Tom . Either way meeting up and cruzing in together is what we would like to do. We will post something up before the meet.

Hey Z did you say your tuner will be there?My tuner lives in Maryland ( Kevin McDonald ). He came down to Mustang Specialties too tune mine because of the cams I installed on my rebuild. But the Tuner from Mustang Specialties ( John ) who has tuned many Marauders & Mustangs is a friend of mine. He told me a while back he plans on being their. I'll double check with him if you like.

As per AOL weather is state's a 30% chance of pricip which is normal for south florida. I was watching a few different weather news reports and they all say it looks to be a nice weekend.

We will meet up at the Florida Turnpike exit PGA Blvd at the Mobile gas Station 7000 PGA Blvd Palm Beach Fl Phone # 561-622 1205 at 7:30 am . We will at the point will have a little time to get some Coffee or what ever you like and clean up the cars a little . At approx 8 am we will make the trip down the road together to the Event. Well going their it rained a little . The Show was over cast most of the day but No rain. The Group did well at the Awards.** NTHE10s- First Place Best Vic ** Boatmangc- First Place Best Mercury ** BlackMobile- First Place Best Specality Vehicial ** Cobra 25 - First Place Best Interior **. All of the Awards were given on Stage with Pictures taken with some Beautiful Models. Also their was a swap meet area set up, Alot of Car & truck Vendors, Food Vendors , Drag Racing with some really Fast Cars a Jet Car putting on a Nice Show too.
