Well folks, finally installed some of Dennis' mods!! Just loved that feeling of extra performance at hand when needed. It was all I could do not to punch it to see the added power while in bumper-to-bumper traffic in LA.
Finally, about a mile from home, a clearance where I can test the upgrades. Stepped on it easily, a little more, again a little more, each second velocity increasing until my common sense said "Whoa, baby!" Had to let off because I was heading to 80 in a 45 zone with no end in sight. My heart was pounding with excitement. It is done!

Today, noticed some over-heating from the engine through the vents into the car although the temp guage is situated at normal. Has anyone else experienced this?
I will continue to moniter and will advise.

Thanks to Dennis for all his assistance.

Can't wait to get back in the black.

Ranger - When you installed the stat did you bleed the air out of the cooling system? Air in the system is a possible cause. IMO.

John:

Thanks for the tip.
Since this morning have not had any problems with overheating. Guess it worked itself out?? If that's the only glitch as a result of the upgrades I'll be happy.
How's your Van Wyck MM doing?

The vents over heating was probably coolant that spilled evaporating.
