According to the FRPP catalog, no but I can do some digging on Monday to see if there are any around.

I looked every where trying to help a member locate one, summit, jegs and every where else i looked stated the motor has been discontinued, and that ford is focusing on the 5.0 aluminator, i guess i got lucky and got one of the last ones produced since mines was assembled two weeks after i placed my order, and shipped directly from ford.

Curious if that is the case, if they still offer shortblock? If so just have to rework youre old heads use them with new shortblock.

How does the 5.0 differ from our 4.6 motor......bore & stroke only??

Will our peripheral stuff fit......intake, etc?? If so why wouldn't our existing computer controls work??

It's the Coyote engine with TiVCT. Our computers have no clue how to make that engine work.

Ill keep looking and post up a link if i can locate a long , or short block, figured it was just a matter of time with the 5.0 on the scene as well as the Boss block.

yeah I always thought the Aluminator was a good deal and wondered why it wasn't more popular for the Marauder. For the price of a trilogy kit you have a new motor ready for boost.

While I was looking for the 4.6 4v Aluminator I also noticed the 3v is gone too, I guess my car is old and outdated also. :( But I still will put my feelers out Monday to see what I come up with.

Yes the 4.6L Aluminator short blocks are still available.

Good info! As long as you can still get shortblock Alluminator you can just rework old heads and pretty much have same as a LB. Alluminator heads have nothing but OE(cams, springs, retainers etc)

OK update from my FRPP rep, there are no 4.6L Aluminator long blocks at any FRPP warehouses left. The new 5.0L 4v block will not fit 4.6L cylinder heads and accessories even though bellhousing is same nothing else is. My rep says that Ford may be making the 4.6L based M-6010-BOSS50 iron block into short and long block versions sometime by end of year.
