Dang! The window says "invalid file type." The video is an asf file. How can I upload it to my message? Mary? Are you out there, guru of all things computer related?

In clicking on "Manage Attachments," these are your options:

Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip

If it's web-based, link to the source. Or try uploading to the Photo Gallery and put the link in the Post. Size may be a problem in the Gallery.

OK, I went to the Gallery to try to upload it there. I didn't see any button in the Gallery that said "upload photo" or anything like that. I know I'm technologically challenged, so please point me to what is probably a very simple process once you know what you are doing.

Even though you're logged into the website, you need to log in separately to the Gallery. Click on "Login" and if that doesn't work, click on "Register" first. <TABLE borderColor=#ffffff cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width=95 bgColor=#ffffff borderColorLight=#000000 border=1><TBODY><TR><TD noWrap align=middle>Log into Gallery</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cus/e_2_1.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001)

Well, double dang! I tried to upload it, but the video file is 2.65 MB, and that's a little too big for the galleries. Anybody got any other ideas, let me know. I don't know if this is on the web, so I can't post a web link to it. Someone sent it to me in an email.

I have the same problem. I have some air to ground combat footage that I would like to share, but it was sent to me in an e-mail and I do not know how to get it from there to here. Any ideas?

I'd put it on my firm's website, but I don't think they would appreciate it... :nono:

Email it to me, and I'll give it a try. As a bonus to my adding DSL I was graciously provided with 650 Mb of web hosting space. Don't know how to use it yet, but I'll learn.

If you are still interested, you too Haggis, PM me and I'll provide you my email address.

I have a site www.epicmarine.com (http://www.epicmarine.com) for my super awesome V8 powered wakeboard boat and others like it that were produced for a short time, better than anything on the market, and were ignored by the marketing types. They aren't made anymore, and are "cult boats"

Sound familiar? I have a knack for latching on to this kind of stuff.

I have space and will post it. email me at pete@epicmarine.com
