Nothing else scheduled so far for this weekend, so I'm planning to attend; who's gonna join me?

Also, checking to confirm, but I think the Wilmington Oktoberfest is going to be the same weekend this year

Ms.M and I are wanting to go and enjoy--it's been since '06 our last visit--we(Rex) and I enjoyed the German Beer fun--guess it's time to renew!!

You can always stand by the toliets and keep them clean and hand out towels for people to dry their hands when they are done. Those people make some good tips.

Oh, I forgot you are not allowed by the US Marshalls office within 50 feet of any place where people have to relieve themselves, due to your arrest record for video recording people in the toliet.

Dave, this is a GREAT show, and the Marauder guys are always very well received.

If they follow the judging criteria used in past shows, you are virtually guaranteed to bring home some hardware. Also, would be great to have a DTR in the show (kinda offsets those boring black cars... ;)).

Wilmington is one of the cities that I WON'T try to navigate without a GPS, I always get turned around there...:o

Depending on where you're staying, though, it's not too bad. Market St. or College Ave are easy to find and easy to get around on.

This is a unique kind of show, basically each car is judged individually against standard criteria, not against each other, so if you do a good job cleaning and detailing your car, you could be competitive against that judging criteria.

Just received an e-mail from Kurt at SENCMC, here's the transcript:

"...I have some very important news to pass about the drive to the 14th Annual Southeastern North Carolina Mustang Club's All Ford Car & Truck Show this Saturday, October 13, 2012.

First of all, each one of you has pre-registered successfully. Thank you. At the registration table, just tell them you are pre-registered, and we will have someone bring your package right there to your car. Easy day (well...beginning of the day, anyway.)

Second, and maybe more importantly for some of you: The NCDOT has chosen this weekend to continue their work on the Memorial Bridge (the draw bridge on 74/76/Business 17) over the Cape Fear River. During the most recent closure of the bridge (for infrastructure rehab), there was considerable traffic that built up as the morning went on. Earlier in the day, it was not too bad, however. If you are coming to the show from the south or west, please take the bridge closing into account on your drive time. The easiest alternatives are the Hwy 133 bridge to MLK or the I-140 bridge to I-40 then to MLK.

Third, the show field has been reversed this year. We have greatly expanded our show field, and that blessing has necessitated a traffic flow change. This year, you will enter Capital Ford Lincoln at the last entrance to the dealership. There will be many signs to help you out, and once you enter the lot, you will be directed around to the registration tables, and onto the show field by our car wranglers. Please heed their directions so everyone will have a smooth transition to their parking area. As usual, if you're with a club, let the wranglers know so they can keep you together. Please encourage your club members to arrive near the same time.

Lastly, I am pleased to announce that in addition to our other awesome vendors (food, t-shirts/hats, detailing, tinting, etc...), the Global Licensing Division of Ford Motor Company is bringing their Ford Merchandise trailer (18-wheeler) to our show!! They have all the latest Ford gear for your early Christmas shopping needs! Please visit our vendors during the day and show your support. Additionally, we have the now famous, always fun, Mustang Games for kids of all ages! The reigning champion spark plug changer is a 13-year old girl, who took down some pretty serious gearheads last year. So make sure you come over and see Randy & Betty at the games. (You can't miss it - it's right next to the BOSS 429!!)..."

I had sometime close to Bursitis -symptoms anyway--attach my left hip and leg down to my knee with sever pain and numbness and swelling Tuesday and got worst last evening,

Just got back from the Doctor with orders to stay off feet , use hot and cold presses and put me on some anti-inflammatory Rx---till Monday--If not better by then --to call back and return---

SO the Ms and both are using walkers now---not as funny as it appears---

I had something close to Bursitis -symptoms anyway--Big Pain attack my left hip and leg down to my knee with sever pain and numbness and swelling Tuesday and got worst last evening,

Just got back from the Doctor with orders to stay off feet , use hot and cold presses and put me on some anti-inflammatory Rx-+ major Pain Rx.--till Monday--If not better by then --to call back and return---

SO the Ms and both are using walkers now---not as funny as it appears---

That Boss was nice. There was also a very nice 69 Mach 1 with a 428 (the red one a couple of post back). And a 1971 Mach 1 with the 429 CJ - a very rare car in its own right. Really nice big block muscle!
