I was just offered a car to add to our collection...2000 or 2001 Crown Vic Sport, 55,000 miles, black, loaded without moonroof....Allen supercharged...still working on getting all of the details abut the car has been supercharged since new. Any idea of value? Please give me your thoughts...

The Allen S/C kit for the CV and GM offers 6 lb of boost and 90 HP. Seems to be priced about $4500. Kit fits under the hood too. Tune and installation costs seperate. Google Allen Superchargers.

Please give us more info. Can't even make a semi accurate response unless we have condition (ex and int), options, mileage, and exact year. There is as much as $3,500 difference in prices in mileage alone.

The S/C kit cost at that time was $4,500.00 got to factor that in.

My guess would be @ 60K miles, 2001 model, in excellent condition, factoring in the S/C. $6,400 to $8,400.

I did give you the mileage, 55,000 miles...I also gave you the options, loaded minus the moonroof...

I double checked, its an 01. I will have pics by the end of the week.

Interesting, I've never heard of Allen Superchargers. Guess I'm googling as soon as I get to work this morning lol

Allen Engine Development is no longer in business. Their blower kits used an Eaton M90, similar to what Ford installed on the '89-'94 Thunderbird SuperCoupe. They came in 6lb and 9lb boost configurations. They were a quality kit, but parts may be difficult to find.

Nope, my goal in life is to have a collection big enough to start a museum...I can never bring myself to sell a toy even if I don't drive it. I have not driven the notch for about 6 years or so...it has a cracked block ( at least thats what we think, it pushes water when under boost) but I am currently working on another Stang and in trade I get his old engine. So I could have it back out next summer.

The aed kits on a crown vic in this coming age I think you should buy it :) I was looking at one a few years back when the owner called me saying the car was sold - long story short he called me a few days later saying the new owner crashed it :(

Working on getting to see it and drive it this weekend. I drove buy the owner's house last night but did not stop yet. Its a long story but he lives only a few miles from me, never drives the car so I would not have seen it. We met at a F.O.P. meeting the other night... got my fingers crossed, would love to get the whole story on the car and share it with you guys. There is a behind the scenes story on this car and it goes in pretty deep with Ford and AED...

So I went and saw / heard it run...it was getting dark out and the owner was having a party so I did not push the driving thing yet. Pics did not turn out at all. Its a really clean car, the supercharger is an Eaton but the instal kit and intake hat is Allen. Nothing to really go wrong so you would not have to worry about it being an out of business company. He has all of the receipts for the purchase of the car new and the exhaust (flowmaster) and the rear gears / posi but nothing on the blower unit. I told him that it would be a lot easier to sell with that so he is working on it.

We are not interested in it for our collection, so if any of you guys are let me know and I will get you in touch with him. I may be able to bring it to MV10 to show it...just a thought. He's in the $8000 range....any takers?
