I have 120K on a PI 3,500 Stall w/ 541RWHP and ran a 11.55 @122 using a V-2 "T" trim.
Assuming you have a top tuner you won't know you have it.

Depending on which Vortech S/C you select will determine what stall speed(above stock) if any you will need for your combo to work, as you may know Vortech makes several different S/C in different trims

still recommend what?
If you SC your car you will need to tune it. With a centrifugal SC to get the car moving you need to think about changing gears from 3.55s to 4.10s and going with at least a 3000 stall - I have a 3500

Re: Vortec and 3,000 stall PI
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You cannot tell the difference between 3000 and 3500 when it comes to driveability.
My 60' times were reduced almost 2 tenths from the change alone.
It will not make anymore heat than the 3000 either.
It is totally awesome, get it.
Besides, it is free to upgrade.

I would suggest a vortech "S" trim with 3.33 pulley.
39lb injectors or better
PI Stallion Tripple disk 3000 stall
Good Brakes.

well i broke a screw taking the thermostat housing apart. Got to wait til tommorow to see what part number from ford. drained radiator, removed belt and alternator, mach up the supercharger, now removing upper intake and doing injectors and plugs. making sure i put a little vaseline on the orings of injectors.

Plumber putty works well on o rings too. Why did you have to take the tstat apart?

also got pissed and could not remove the alternator housing. So i sprayed a thin coat of black engine paint on the whole thing instead of the pieces i wanted too. Do you think it will still work. haha.

just keeps getting better. the injectors came with plastic end caps on them so i removed them and also removed a small plastic ring on the nozzle which the original injectors i removed did not have. luckily i only did that to one imjector because those are suppose to be left on. it was the same color as the end caps so i though i had to remove it.

Contact Reinhart with any questions. After all you spent over 5k for his kit.
