I did all 4 lines, rotors and pads, and full fluid flush in a day, but im not thrilled with the brake pedal sponginess...so who knows how well I did it lol

It should not take anywhere near that long we charge an hour of labor plus parts and fluid. TCE's product is very good. Do them and you will be happy!!!

Re-bleed the brakes. That's probably your problem.

I tried to bleed the lines with a hand help vaccuum pump that I borrowed from a friend but I couldn't get that stupid thing to work. i ended up using the cup the kit came with and the clear hose and 1 -man'd it. fluid was black as hell. I think I'll change it while i'm working on the system.

and the 9 1/2 hours included the first time yesterday that I started to think about doing the job. it only took me about 30 mins per wheel. but then I left the wheels off and cleaned them up a bit. pedal already feels quite firm and I've only done the rears.

Try gravity bleeding them.

I used one of the cheap cup one man bleeders, essentially just a cup with a tube and a hose connected. Saw no more air in the lines :(

Obviously there is still air in the lines.

Get two lengths of the same hose.

Attach to each bleeder screw.

Put the other end in a container.

Open the bleeders screws.

I bet you see some air come out.

Keep the master cylinder full.

Or the master is going bad.

Get some to pump the pedal for you. Surely you have a friend?

If you let the master cylinder go dry, you will have air in the ABS HCU. Gotta go to Ford and they need to hook up the IDS to cycle the valves to get the air of it.

If you're 100% sure the master didn't go dry, keep bleeding.

What size hose is needed from my FLAPS, for the bleeder nipples? (heehee)

Ok...now if there's only one bleeder on a caliper, why the two hoses? To bleed two at once?
