Had a guy following me today who thought I was a cop. Stayed on my tail for a long time before he decided I wasn't. He decided I wasn't a cop and pulled out and passed me at a good clip. He also paased the unmarked SUV that I was following. I did have to laugh as I passed them.

Most people think I'm a cop and stay away. However, like you saw, I also see idiots who become very aggressive once they realize I'm not a cop. Tailgating, swerving around me and others and even cutting me off to prove a point. I do hate people sometimes.

Same thing has happened to me a few times. Oddly it happens more if I'm on the 410...you take a guess. :cool:

I had a 350z one time following behind me in the middle of the night heading down the Garden State Parkway. I was in the right lane and he was in the left, but he refused to pass me. I thought, like you guys did, that he thought I was a cop. I get off at a rest plaza after many miles of him not passing me, and he exits into the same rest plaza and parks 2-3 spots from me. We both get out and he says, "Wait. Your not a cop?" I said with a grin on my face, "Nope", knowing what he was thinking already. His response was "Damn, I wish I knew. I needed to piss like a race horse and was afraid to pass you." One of the best responses I ever got for my car.
