Wire pass thru

I see the grommet on the passenger side inside the car but,I don't see it in the engine compartment..Do I have to remove parts to get to it???If some one could post a picture or explain exactly where it is on the fire wall,I would really appreciate it..Thanks in advance..

Below and to the right (looking into the passenger compartment) of the power brake booster.

When I pull my car into my shop after work this evening I will snap a picture for ya of where it is on the inside passenger side of the engine bay.

Are we talking about the same thing???The grommet with wires going into engine bay is on passenger side up top almost under dash.All the way to the right and up...the power brake booster (behind master brake cylinder?) is on drivers side in engine bay..

if you are trying to run a wire thru the grommet, just push the wire thru using a coat hanger (careful of the sharp edges of the hanger) and you will see it come out on the back side of the wheel well just below the ac stuff.

On the passenger side I use one behind the carpet, kinda right where the carpet ends. The engine side is between the heater box and the splash shield.
