Hey can any of the locals post up some good places to go eat?

I looked through the itinerary and dont see us really going to any specific restaurants as a group!

So since we are going to be there for 5 days I was just wondering if you locals had any good suggestions.

Any good places close to the hotel?

Is there a Famous Dave's up there? :food:

What ya got???

Pops posted some places in another thread - He's the obvious local expert.

I'm there often so some of the places I know

Vineyard - ok pizza better than most outside of Chicago but those of us from Chicago no what that means.

Phoenix Street Cafe - good breakfast spot

Tossi's its across the street from Phoenix Cafe - very good Italian food probably most expensive place on the strip but worth it.

Clementine's - American food/Bar down the block from others

There are a bunch of places on Phoenix Street (Down Town South Haven) so if you go there there's plenty of choices. Pops likes a place on the west end of the street on the north side can't remember the name but its next to an ice-cream place. There is also a Pizza joint that is at the west end of the strip right before you head down to the harbor, very good pizza and I hear they have great ribs believe it or not.

There is also a Mexican restaurant next to the movie theater, most of their food is great.

Also some good places a few miles away. DiMaggio's is south on BlueStar Highway, a Pizza and Bar place with some of the best Pizza around (maybe 15 minutes south of the hotel)

Julia's Cafe is a good coffee shop with a small deli and breakfast menu
