While driving the car yesterday, I heard a new noise coming from the engine that I hadn't heard before. I diagnosed the situation...there was an added belt noise.

I've joined the ranks of boost with thanks to the crew at MO's Speed Shop and Martyo..They took my boxes of parts, added what was needed and put it together in my car. It's a non-intercooled set-up for the time being as I spent $$ elsewhere for other upgrades. Unfortunately, my engine bay is not a show piece being a northern car, but there is no mistaking the vortech whirr.

Even in hot and humid Georgia, with no intercooler, dynoing during the warm part of the day, it still squeaked out 411 RWHP. It drove like a champ on the 680 mile trip home.

I'm not sure of boost as my boost gauge was faulty and not registering. The gauges came with the s/c purchase I made last Feb. from a member who never installed it. They are Speedhut gauges and will call them to see about fixing it. It was on the stock vortech pulley of 3.600
