Overhead console/compass removal

I checked the DIY forums but the information there is specific for the 300A long console. Does anyone know what's involved in removing the 300B short one? I am guessing it's held with clips only since I can see no screws like on the 300A. Thoughts?

1 screw at the front, in the middle by the windshield, the backside is help up with a pair of clips.

Which you have to pull down on quite hard to get it off.

Excellent- thank you! Now, does anyone have experience with the rear view mirror removal? I know these are a little different than the old hex or phillips set screw type.
