That seems overly optimistic. I would think $16K tops.

I Agree. If you really want to sell the car the price needs to come down. I saw one sold that had 9K miles on it for 15,900 about 2 weeks ago and that was from a dealer. Sorry to jump in on this but I see theses cars for sale with the prices way up and they just sit there and do not sell.

The higher the asking price, the stronger the values will remain of these cars. Think about it: A low mile unmolested example is going to be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to come by in a couple of years.

Also, how many do you believe are left? Out of those, how many weren't SC'ed, ghettorigged, or daily driven?

His asking price isnt out of the question...$20 would be ABSOLUTE top dollar, and would have to be in SHOWROOM condition.

I'd tend to agree. I found one for $17k with 24k miles in March this year and jumped at the opportunity. Sure it needed tires and a little TLC but it was worth it. I love this car!
