I think it's a proven fact that the stock trilogy tune is very safe. There was a lot of time and research that went into its development. I'm wondering if anybody knows what AFR and timing the stock tune is set for? Also at what intake temps it starts pulling timing?

My car was tuned locally and has worked great for almost 10,000 miles. Like most I asked for a safe tune but without a frame of reference I have no idea

I see 12 degrees of timing and about 10.3 on the wideband at WOT
It starts pulling timing above 100 degrees.

Not trying to start a who's best argument just wondering what people with stock Triolgy tunes are seeing?

Never had the stock trilogy tune!

The 3.4 pulley has never touched my blower!

According to the info given that tune is beyond safe.
You can bring the afr to the low 11's and still be safe. Then set it up to start pulling timing at 150* charge temp

What Landy said! 100*??? Mine is at 150*, timing at 13, and 11.4 IIRC.

Add to that a 3.2 pulley, and headers and I am at 453, or 466 cut outs open
making only 9#s of boost!

Keep in mind I was already at 445/ 11.4 Psi and after the exhaust I went in for an AFR check and a possible detune. All looked good and she was never retuned for the exhaust, so I left her be.

Stock tune? All I can say is SAFE! I had a bad fuel pump a couple years back and she sputtered and shook many many times and never once detonated!

Thanks guys...looks like I got what I wanted. A conservative tune. Being a DD I'm not overly concerned about peak numbers just want to be able to lay ruber at will. Which I can:)
