I had a Black 96 in 2000 - I loved it.

I drove it from Greenville, SC to JAX, FL for work. Talk about a "run".

I had to sell as we moved from G'Ville to NJ and I didn't want to leave it in the parking lot for the train.

Rex - I got it at Kevin Whitaker on N. Pleasantburg. Solt it back to them there, too.

I se them as much as MM's here in Chicago but you are right, they are almost never clean. I only see the beaten ones unless they are at a car show then they are either never ever going to be for sale or are asking stupid money.

Thanks for all the replies fellas. I am getting a bit concerned I guess. I figured this nice a car I would get some calls and emails. NOTHING thus far. I know they are kind of a unique car, and the economy sucks, but not much activity.

I dont think I am too far out of line on the price though. Its got a crap ton of new parts cause I have this OCD problem where everything needs to be perfect............. hahaha.......... so l wanted to make sure I would have no problems for daily duty.

I would like to believe that part of the reason for little activity is the 95 vs 96 but it didnt stop me from buying it when I did............ and I wanted the floor shifter. It was a clean car, thats why I bought it. Hopefully someone else will too.

I do think that's part of it but as you said shouldn't prevent everyone from buying it. I think its a tough economy and its the fall. Not the best time to sell a car most people will rarerly drive

I am not sure. I would say useable space might be a little smaller since the put the spare in the middle of the trunk under the rear deck. But if you take that out (like I do) its huge. Why do you ask?:confused::D
