Cut a coil off the fronts and reset ride height sensor on the rear.

2-3 hrs, free, better cornering. Can't get any better than that..

On the watts link above the rear axle drivers side. There is an 8 mm nut and an 11 mm nut. Loosen only the 8mm (IIRC) and slide it to the left. Don't forget to turn off the air ride prior to adjustment so it doesn't accidentally sit on you..

Oh ok this won't affect it in a negative way. And I I decide to put it back to the orignal hight I can just slide it back to the orignal spot? Sorry for the thread hijack and all the questions

Yeah. You can raise or lower the ride height with this adjustment.

How much change can you get by adjusting the ride height sensors plus or minus?

Up to 2 1/2 to 3" depending on how high it is when you start!

What is the ride quality difference between stock springs and cut springs? I want to lower mine as well but dont want to sacrifice the ride quality.

BETTER cornering! I didn't notice much difference when I cut mine years ago. I will say that when I installed the Monroe severe duty shocks, it was link finding the missing link.. BEAUTIFUL ride quality!

Cut springs don't detract from the ride quality - I removed 1 1/4 coils off of the top of the OEM springs in '06 and they have been smooth riding. The QA1 springs that come w/their front coil-over shocks are garbage (so are their shocks).

Anybody got some pics of their cars lowered? I'd like to see what it looks like with 1 1/4" out.

Lookin' good. Where were you in VA?

So that is 1-1/4 coils? That might be perfect.

I was at a place called Corbin Hall on the Eastern Shore. Small town called Horntown near Wallops Island & Chincoteague Island - that's Chincotteague Bay/Island in the background.

That's 1 1/4 coils off and recent replacement of upper/lower front control arms/bushings/balljoints and the SPC/Moog offset camber bolts on the lower control arms - a must if you go this low and you want the camber adjustment to be right!
The rear is also adjusted as low as it will go and the frame rails sit dead level.
Tire size is 255/45-18 front & rear. You will have to mod the rear axle snubbers and the front plastic fender liners as well.
I'm planning on many return visits to Corbin Hall - I bought a 3 acre lot there. I know it's not that close to you but we might meet somewhere inbetween if you want to see some of the details.

Its always more complicated then I think it is... I guess I'll have to pick up those parts too!

I might take you up on that. Probably won't be lowering it anytime soon.

Not a lot of $$ in parts - just a little attention to the details. Most I had to learn the hard way!
I'll let you know a month or two before I come down again.
