New MM owner in Tampa Bay, FL

Been lurking around here for about 4 months, finally found good deal 2 weeks ago on a 03 MM with 91,xxx 4.10's and a JLT intake not sure if it has a tune or not. Gonna get with MO and get a xcal tune and delete the rear cats.
Can anyone give me an idea on what i should pay to repack the axle seals? My passenger side is leaking and need to get this done right away.

As for the leaking axle seal, have the tech check the axles. They are known to go bad, too.

Welcome. If the car has 4.10 gears, it has a tune or you'd know something was really wrong. The leaking seal will only get worse. Have it looked at soon. I had to have my axle seals replaced. Axles themselves were ok. Too long ago to remember the price, sorry.

Ok well i just got off the phone with a family friend who is a master ford tech and he said he would do it on the side for $100 for everything. That doesnt hurt my pocket book at all now and i dont have to go to the stealership for this.
regarding the 4.10's the car bounces off the limiter in 2nd and ive read a couple threads that say with a tune it shouldnt do that. any way to find out about the tune? if next week he puts the car up and checks the ecu would that tell me or him if it has a tune?

The tranny will not shift correctly if its not tuned for the 4.10 ratio. The speedo will also be way off. It should not be bouncing off the rev limiter at any time.

Also there's a youtube tutorial on how to do it with headlights on the vehicle, just search 3m headlight restoration, i did it on my 90 notch and boy what a difference, oh yea and your fog lights as well lmk....
