Hi all, I'm not sure yet but I think the infamous Detroit lean might be developing on my MM drivers side 1 or 2 inches. I have about 17k on the clock. Well, my question is has anyone changed the drivers side airbag and fixed the problem?

If you replace one, you might as well change the other

I agree, I will change both. But in doing that, will it correct the problem? Thanks in advance....:)

Check for a bad soleniod before you replace a bag that may not be faulty, or a bad line, and of course give your compressor the once over.

OK will do, so far everything looks good but didn't ck the solenoid. Is there one solenoid for the system or one for each side.

Each bag has its own soleniod, youl see em when you jack your ride up

If your soleniods are sticking open you wont hear the clicking sound they make when they open and close, the lines could have a bad spot, or a leak at some point, if you cant hear or see a leak but arent sure do the soapy water in a spray bottle on the lines and see what you get, hope its just soleniod, or a line, thats cheaper and easier to replace than your bags

OK, thanks for the advice and I will check the lines and the solenoid. Hopefully it will be something less than the bag. BTW the bags and everything look new so hopefully it's an electronic part.....:)
