Looking for a set of tail pipes for my 05 crown vic. Dont need the mufflers nor the h-pipe, just the tail pipes. Must be cut right after the mufflers as I need the curve over the rear differental. Let me know what you have with pics and also a price shipped to 07304. Thank you

Give Greg a call at Mandrel Bending Solutions @ (410)-360-7105.

He makes a 2.5" over axle mandrel bent piece for the MM/CV/GM. A good handful of CAM members have had him do their exhaust work including myself from stock manifolds back to tips on my car.

Thanks alot for the info. I'm not looking to spend alot on the exhaust. I know that marauders have 2.25" tail pipes while crown vics have 2". I can settle for the 2.25" as they will not run me alot. I already have magnaflows and rear cats deleted.

How much did he charge you for your exhaust?

Yes anything that like will be aluminumized steel and will be crimped bent.

He did my whole exhaust for about $700. I just had to supply (two) new cats, re-used my Aero mufflers and re-used my 3.5" res-delete tips.

For the tail pipe section I think would probably be $325.

Greg @ MBS is the only person I let do my exhaust work, I don't mind paying for quality and having it done right the first time.

My god that is a beauty. I'm just not looking to spend 400+ on exhaust right now. Just looking for a set of tail pipes off a marauder or even a crown cox if that's my choice.

My exhaust is 409 stainless, don't cheap on your exhaust and go with Aluminized because you will end up replacing it down the road. Better to do it right the first time.

409 SS is dull gray in color.
409 SS will turn a blotchy brownish red over time.
409 SS is the same material used for exhaust components in modern vehicles.
409 SS can be welded with a regular mig welder, no special welding wire is needed.
409 SS can be polished but the shine will not last as long as 309 SS.
409 SS will rust but NOT rust through.

VS

Aluminized Steel is dull gray in color, similar to 409 Stainless Steel.
Aluminized Steel will NOT turn gold/brown in color when it gets hot.
Aluminized Steel has fair heat retention value.
Aluminized Steel can be welded with a regular mig welder, no special welding wire is needed.
Aluminized Steel is rust resistant but once the aluminized coating wears off, the steel will begin to rust.
