Engine vs. transmission

Was just wondering if our transmission will bolt up to a non mod motor? Just thinking long term if the OEM ever bites the dust rather than a terminator or aluminator if a different kind of crate motor would work.

Nothing at the moment but if the engine ever goes "BOOM" the #'s matching aspect of the car goes South so maybe a Ford Crate. Just was wondering if it would be a relatively easy swap or would it be easier to do a crate with a C6. Just thinkin' on the keyboard. My guess is that a mod derivative would be the least painless way to go and I know you can get big power out of the Terminators.:)

This trans will only mount to modular motors and the new 5.0L or 3.7L. If you're thinking of older 5.0 or 5.8 you'll need adapters.

The Texas guy was at MV-X with 200,000 plus and no motor issue so that means your looking at a motor in maybe 2075?:P

Older truck 460 had a short snout water pump. Add C6, that would be cool. :)
