What rear axle mods are the 500+RWHP guys running? Any Problems? Second thoughts? Recommendations please.
Don't know why I didn't ask around at MVX. :shake:
Thanks

I see that I should have been more specific.
How about more than 500RWHP but less than 800+RWHP
I'm running FORD 31 spline axles and a cobra diff with carbon clutches!
I love the setup!

Do you ever put any strain on that setup? Like spinning the tires?

I see you haven't been introduced to our Doomie!!!
I don't have any links to his epic videos but I'm sure someone will chime in with a few.
Have fun with the mod, I did! :burnout:

31 splines and a Detroit trutrac
The Eaton Trutrac is the best setup for street driving. I went with a Detroit Locker in my MM and now wish I would have used their Trutrac. It took me a year to get used to the noises & backlash. No girly-man clutches for me. Do it right the first time and you will have no regrets later.
I wish someone would make a 9" conversion (the whole housing). I'm told that the Watts link attachment is a problem with a 9".
I have an 8.8" housing for my 2000 PI I have prepped for a conversion to big Ford 9" ends, which will allow me to use the 31 spline Detroit Locker without C-clips.
