Talked to weldcraft and they said 1.5 inches would be good but i want a noticable difference.

Go too wide and the wheel will contact the shock tower.

I believe Motown did 11" with a 1" spacer.

^^^^^ What he said. The shock tower's going to be your limiting factor.

You could always tub the rear end like this:

im going to go with the 11' rims soon thats next on my to do list and get the 1.5 spacers

i think those nitto 555r drag radial tires are the best looking sexiest looking tire on the marauders, i just love the way they look

excecially with a weldcraft 18x11 rims with the nitto 555r tires damn i love it cannot waittt

So I just got my wheels done at weld craft now i need tires. I was thinking 305 45 18. Does that sound right.

305mm is 12in. I would do 315s if you widened them to 11in and have a spacer.

I run the 305's on 91/2 rims and have NO problems. Watch them in the rain and wet roads.

What size did you widen them to? That will be your determining factor

He said 11". That's why I'm saying to go bigger than 305's. I'm thinking 315's. Otherwise you get that flat look where the rubber and rim have that flat look and no bulge. The chicks dig the bulge too! ;)

A 315 what? I have 315 35 20s on the front of my car, while they are over 12" wide they are too short for a rear tire on our cars.
