It is a Michigan car, Lidio built the motor for it. From what I understand, it needs some TLC, PDR & buffing, plus the interior has had some work done to it. It is not mine, I wouldn't take twice that price.

So this begs the question: Is the majority of TwinScrews put into DTRs.

Apparently DTR owners are the only ones with the coin for the twin screw......

For that cash ...it should be gone......the long block and T/S would cost ya around 12-14 k alone maybe more....its a steel............

I've seen the car in person. At 20.5k it's vastly overpriced. If the motor was maintained as well as the rest of the vehicle it will need a tear down with rings and bearings replaced. Absent the motor a 9-10k vehicle at best. Typical Michigan driver that was used year round and never garaged. Lots of work if you want a project. No doubt a ton of $ was spent on this one, too bad the owner didn't maintain it.

I was told today that the car sold for 20.5k.

Must have been detuned. For all that it should have a lot more power.

Lidio tunes for safe horsepower. I'd rather leave something on the table than have a 20k build go boom.

Car is not sold. I was told it was soon after I asked to see the underside on a rack.

For a lot less you can get the same power reliably. Cobra Long Blocks reliably produce 600+RWHP.

Makes no sense to spend all that money for extra power and then not have any extra power.

Educate me. Who is running a 4.6 Cobra long block and Trilogy Twin Screw that gets over 600 RWHP. I may have to change my plans on my dream build.

SVTP has dozens if not hundreds of Terminators with Whipples making 600+ at the tire.
I was |--| close to buying one with 120,000 miles that had been making 600 with a Whipple since I believe 80k without a whimper.

A Marauder will make slightly less power due to the auto and other minor reasons but there's no reason you can't get 600+ with a Terminator motor.
The stock trans and fuel system...well, that's another story and the main reason I've kept mine under 500.

Thanks! I'll have to take a look over on SVTP. Can you recall just which one was running a Trilogy Twin screw at over 600RWHP?

Any twin screw blower can make over 600 easily, no need to pay the premium for a Trilogy.
You can use the Gortch(sp?) brackets and do a drivers side inlet Whipple setup for well under the cost of a regular Trilogy blower let alone the TS cost.

Sounds like a sweet setup! great advice;)
