Hello everyone, I'm new here. I've been in love with Marauders since they were new. I've had two Mustang Mach 1's and loved the engine too. I now have two girls and being recently divorced, I'm looking to sell or trade my 2000 Excursion 7.3 Limited 4x4 and buy a 2004 Marauder w/sunroof. I don't care what color combo as long as it's factory. Mileage under 100K is preferable since I will be driving it often. I'd also prefer a 100% stock car.

I would be very interested in buying from a member on this board since you all seem to adore these cars and know them well. I can travel and drive it back to Florida.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Jason

I may have a car for you....but it is not 100% bone stock and has 112K on it, but it does have a sunroof, and it will drive anywhere, and has lots of little extras.

Moonroof cars are pretty rare:

2004 Marauders with Moon Roofs (VIN Coding: 2MHHM79…) Number Built and % of Production
Dark Toreador Red 369 38%
Silver Birch 336 34%
Black 509 41%
TOTAL: 1,214 37.8%

As for mileage, these cars will run virtually forever if they're maintained; lots of them running strong at 200K miles.

You may wanna check out SID's, good vehicle.

I'm trying to get around 10K for the Excursion.

SID, give me some details, and pics. my email is jraburn40@gmail.com

to the rest of you, thanks for the tips. I've been looking for a car for a couple of weeks now. I know these cars will run forever. I have a 2003 F-150 that I use for work that has 210K on a 5.4 and runs perfect. I use full synthetic oil and Motorcraft parts.

Thanks again!

At this point I dont need to sell the car....but I dont drive it....I have maybe put 2,500 miles on the clock since December. and 18K since I posted this ad in '09. I have a clean title in hand and will have it detailed if some one buys it.

Asking $12,500 as she sits and a full tank of gas.

Update, I know I've had some private conversations with a couple of you that want to sell.

I've had a heck of a time selling my Excursion, I've had a couple of dozen flakes commit and back out, etc. So I've decided to "dump" it at an auction in Tampa next week.

I'm also selling my 2004 Honda Goldwing, which should sell relatively easy.

I'll be in contact once this is over.
