Hey all, It occured to me that I should probably introduce myself here rather than just lurking on the tech forums and occasionally buying stuff. I've got a 2000 grand marquis GS that's been in my family since it was about a year old, with it passing from my mom to me back in late 2006. I've got plans for the car, currently acquiring parts for a 4v swap. Eventually plan on eaton swapping it, but that's some ways down the road. I'm not planning/trying to make the car into a marauder clone, although I'll admit there are some marauder specific parts that will be making their way onto the car. http://i.imgur.com/NvDtS.jpg

Welcome to the dysfunctional family bubs.

Nice ride you have. Sounds like you have a nice plan. Hopefully sooner rather than later:burnout:

Welcome to the site bro. Your car looks sharp. MM rims look cool on the white. Did you lower that car or is that stock ride?
Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have to say, going from the stock steelies to the MM rims on that car was an amazing change. When that picture was taken, the front was lowered ~2 inches and the back was stock ride height. Since then I've dropped the back down 1-1.5 inches, it looks quite a bit better. Sometime before winter I'm planning on detailing it, should get some better pictures then.

Cool! We like pictures (preferrably car pictures, but we're not too picky :D).
